General Manager International Operations
With a Postgraduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management from Les Roches Swiss School and with over 9 years of experience in the sector, Jaime is a restaurateur whose progressive career has been developed in World-leading international hotels and renown hospitality companies. As General Manager International Operations, Jaime is in charge of internationally expanding 99 Sushi Bar. Bilingual with the ability to communicate well in either English or Native Spanish, he is commercially aware with a proven track record of introducing innovative solutions to increase customer satisfaction and generate revenue. Internationally experienced and educated with a good understanding of differing cultures.
Before accepting this new role at Bambu Group, Jaime was the operations manager at Meraas Holding, a semi-government developer which also works as operational holding company, establishing itself into Dubai´s top developers. He was responsible for day to day management of 12 venues. Throughout these years in the Middle East, Jaime has also worked for JA Hotels, Accor Group and Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts.
Under his leadership, his restaurants have received numerous awards such as Highly Commended Award for Best South-East & Pan Asian at TimeOut Dubai in 2013 and 2014, Best Brunch in Dubai for BBC-Goodfood 2012. For 99 Sushi Bar Best New Restaurant 2017 and Highly Commended Japanese Restaurant 2018 by Timeout Abu Dhabi and Favorite Japanese Restaurant of 2018 by Fact Magazine Abu Dhabi.
